The UHP graphite electrode is a non-consumable electrically conductive material, through which electric current is supplied to the workpiece being welded. It is a consumable product resulting from the processing of petroleum products and highly structured carbon raw materials (needle coke). As a result of exposure to technological firing, it acquires the characteristics necessary for its high electrical conductivity. Used in industrial arc furnaces with ultra-high DC power. Graphite electrodes are indispensable elements in the production process at metallurgical enterprises. electrical resistivity
With a nominal diameter of the UHP electrode of 300mm-600mm, the electrical resistivity is 6.2-6.5 μOhm*m, for the nipple – 5.5 μOhm*m.

For a UHP electrode diameter of 650 mm-800 mm, the same figure is 5.0-6.5 µOhm*m, for a nipple – 4.5 µOhm*m.

Ultimate mechanical bending strength
With a nominal diameter of UHP 300 mm-600 mm, the maximum mechanical bending strength is 10.5 MPa, for the nipple – 16 MPa.

For a UHP electrode cross-section of 650 mm-800 mm, the same figure is 14-16 MPa, and for a nipple – 18-20 MPa.

Elastic modulus
With a nominal diameter of the UHP electrode of 300mm-600mm, the elastic modulus is 14 GPa, for the nipple – 18 GPa.

For a UHP section of 650 mm-800 mm, the same figure is 12 GPa, for a nipple – 14 GPa.

Bulk Density
With a nominal UHP electrode diameter of 300 mm-600 mm, the volume density is no less than 1.64-1.65 g/cm³, for a nipple – no less than 1.70-1.72 g/cm³.

For a UHP electrode diameter of 650 mm-800 mm, the same figure will be no less than 1.72-1.75 g/cm³, and for a nipple – no less than 1.78 g/cm³.

Thermal coefficient of thermal expansion
With a nominal UHP electrode diameter of 300mm-600mm, the thermal coefficient of thermal expansion (100-600C) is 1.5 ×10-6/C, for the nipple – 1.4 ×10-6/C.

For a UHP electrode diameter of 650 mm-800 mm, the same figure will be 1.3 ×10-6/C, and for a nipple – 1.2 ×10-6/C.

Admixture of ash compounds
With a nominal diameter of the UHP electrode of 300 mm-600 mm, the content of ash impurities is no more than 0.3%, and for the nipple – no more than 0.3%.

For a UHP electrode diameter of 650 mm-800 mm, the same figure is no more than 0.3%, and for a nipple – no more than 0.3%.

Q: What about your delivery date in normal conditions?

A: We send the cargo within 15 days after receiving the deposit.

A: Usually as per customer's requests.Common packing information: small size in bundles, big size in bulksome sizes with plastic capstan to protect both ends, seaworthy packaging.

Q: If products have some quality problem, how would you deal with it?
