FeSi65 10-50mm Ferro Silicon is a screened ferrosilicon lump grade with silicon content around 65%. The 10-50mm size is selected for metallurgical charging where a controlled lump range is preferred over broad or unscreened material.

Controlled Lump Range

The 10-50mm range keeps the material within a narrower size window than unscreened ferro silicon. This makes the material easier to handle when the charging process needs more consistent lump size.

Reduced Oversized Pieces

Compared with broader lump ranges such as 10-100mm, 10-50mm limits the amount of very large pieces entering the feeding system. This can be useful when furnace or ladle charging equipment has a defined size preference.

Fines Can Be Specified Separately

The nominal size alone does not describe the whole shipment. If fines, undersize or oversized pieces affect your process, include the acceptable percentage in the RFQ so the screening requirement can be confirmed before packing.

Steelmaking

FeSi65 10-50mm can be used for silicon addition and deoxidation in steelmaking when a ferrosilicon grade around 65% Si matches the process requirement. Because the actual Si content can vary by batch, addition calculations should use the confirmed chemical analysis rather than only the nominal grade name.

Foundry and Metallurgical Charging

The 10-50mm screened lump form is suitable for metallurgical addition where controlled charging size is required. For foundry use, the FeSi65 chemistry and particle size should be checked against the actual melt-treatment requirement rather than assuming that standard FeSi65 is automatically a specialized inoculant or nodularizing alloy.

FeSi65 is crushed and screened after solidification. For a 10-50mm order, the main inspection point is whether the delivered material stays within the agreed size range after screening, handling and packing.

If the production line is sensitive to fines or oversized material, the RFQ should state the acceptable tolerance. This gives a clearer purchasing requirement than writing only "10-50mm FeSi65."

Batch Chemical Analysis

The batch COA is used to verify the actual Si, Al and other tested elements against the agreed order requirement. Recent FeSi65 inspection reports from ZhenAn recorded Si values of 64.27% and 65.98%, with Al at 2.35% and 2.39%.

Shipment Documents

FeSi65 10-50mm is normally packed in jumbo bags for bulk metallurgical supply. The material should be kept dry during storage and transport, and the agreed size condition should be protected as much as possible during handling.
