Advantages

①. Calcium treatment process does not contaminate the steel with other oxides present in the powder cores;

②. The high density of the mandrel makes it easy to check the quality, the smaller surface area of the mandrel gives it a longer shelf life and reduces the calcium oxide contaminants contaminating the liquid steel to a very low level;

③. More uniform calcium content per meter and higher and more stable active calcium content to ensure more stable calcium treatment effect;

④. Thicker outer clad steel shell and high density pure calcium mandrels can feed calcium to deeper parts of the molten steel and stay below the critical depth for a longer period of time, resulting in a higher calcium recovery rate;
