Core wire for steel making is made of carbon powder and steel strip. The carbon content includes calcined coal, calcined petroleum coke, graphitized petroleum coke and other carbon materials. It is also known as solid cored wire for steel making or pure cored wire for steel making, and is sometimes referred to as C-cored wire for short.

The diameter is 13mm ± 0.5mm and the carbon purity is 90%, 95% to 98%. Customized specifications are also acceptable. Thickness of steel tape (ribbon) ranges from 0.3, 0.4, 0.5, 0.6mm. core wire machines produced with our new technology are securely wrapped and will not spit or leak. Filled with uniform toner and packaged in waterproof plastic wrap and steel frame. Absorption rate is more than 90% and moisture is less than 0.5%. It significantly reduces product costs and extends durability. Easy to handle with conventional wire feeding equipment.
