First, hang it vertically when using it. Molybdenum disilicide is easy to break at room temperature and has plasticity at high temperatures. Therefore, it should be hung vertically on the stove top during installation. Such installation can prevent mechanical stress from being added to the heating end of the component, otherwise the possibility of breakage is high.

Secondly, the support chuck bears the entire weight of the component, and it also determines the position of the component. Care must be taken during installation to ensure that the elements hang vertically. The conical part at the lower end of the element must extend into the furnace to prevent local heating.

Finally, the wires of the contact components are all made of aluminum braid or multi-layer aluminum foil. The steel-molybdenum plate on the surface is not used to conduct electricity but only plays a tightening role. To avoid stress transfer to the component, the conductors should be slightly larger than the distance between the component and the busbar.
