Ferro Vanadium Nitride is a new type of vanadium-nitrogen (V-N) alloy additive. With the property being superior to that of vanadium iron and vanadium-nitrogen alloy, it can be widely used in high-strength steel threaded bars and other products. With precipitation strengthening of VN, its amount of vanadium addition can be reduced by 20-40% compared with vanadium iron. V/N (vanadium to nitrogen ratio) of ferro vanadium nitride is 4.0. which is closer to the ideal ratio of vanadium-nitrogen precipitation strengthening of 3.64 compared to 5.5 of vanadium-nitrogen alloy. Thus, the use of ferrovanadium nitride can give full play to the VN precipitation-strengthening effect in steel.

the main components of ferro vanadium nitride are vanadium, nitrogen, and iron, containing two kinds of metals, and it is a true vanadium-nitrogen alloy. The ratio of nitrogen can reach 4.13, which is closer to the ideal ratio of vanadium and nitrogen of 3.64 compared with 5.5 for vanadium nitride.

Ferro vanadium nitride can greatly increase the strength of steel and improve the toughness of steel through grain refinement and precipitation strengthening; steel bars added with ferrovanadium nitride have low cost, Stable performance, small strength fluctuation, cold bending, excellent welding performance, basically no aging and other characteristics; adding ferrovanadium nitride does not need to change the current production process of Class II rebar in domestic iron and steel enterprises, and has no special requirements for temperature control and controlled rolling.
