65 FeSi is an alloy of iron and silicon. Silicon accounts for 63-68% of the composition of 65 FeSi alloy. Ferroalloys can be used in foundry and steelmaking industries as alloys for metal products. Due to the presence of silicon, electrical steel, structural steel and other types of steel gain corrosion resistance and elasticity, and increase the melting point.
65 FeSi is extracted from rocks containing 99% silicon. It is supplied in blocks in large bags.

Methods of producing ferrosilicon
Float method - the entire ferrosilicon melt is obtained from one melt;
Blank - ferrosilicon alloy is obtained from the melt of various melts;
Mixed ferrosilicon alloy is made of bulk ferrosilicon and silicon added from several melts.
Silicon in ferrosilicon alloy reduces electrical energy losses, increases hardness and tensile strength, improves oxidation resistance, increases elasticity and fluidity limit.
