Petroleum coke is made of hydrocarbons with more than 99% carbon. It also contains nitrogen, chlorine, sulfur, and heavy metals. A graphitized petroleum coke recarburizer uses calcined petroleum coke as a raw material. It is then heated in a graphitisation furnace, where it reacts with other substances. This process also removes sulfur and ash. This product is sometimes called an 'artificial graphite recarburiser' and is often used as a recarburiser. To make graphite petroleum coke, you heat high-quality petroleum coke to between 2,500 and 3,500 degrees Celsius.
