Silicon Barium is a highly active material that is used to produce iron. Using 1 ton of silicon-barium alloy instead of 1.5 tons of ferrosilicon is much cheaper. Barium silicon inoculant is suitable for use in both grey cast iron and ductile iron. It has strong spheroidizing and anti-aging properties, which effectively prevent white spots from appearing. It works best when used with 35-50% 75# ferrosilicon. When barium silicon alloy is used for deoxidation in steelmaking, it is used a lot and is very good at removing sulfur. It is better than calcium silicon alloy. Barium silicon is highly active and is a long-term and effective inoculant in the production of iron.
