FeSi65 Ferro Silicon Alloy Lumps Description
Ferro Silicon 65 lumps are a ferroalloy material made mainly from silicon and iron. In this grade, silicon content is usually around 65%, while iron makes up the balance. Small amounts of Al, Ca, Mn, Cr, P, S and C are also controlled during production because these elements may affect the final use of the alloy in metallurgical processes.
FeSi 65 is supplied in lump form, not powder. The lump shape is easier to handle in regular furnace operation, especially when your production needs material that can be weighed, stored and charged in bulk. Compared with fine powder, lumps are more practical for reducing dust, handling loss and uneven feeding during alloy addition.
FeSi65 is a medium-silicon ferro silicon grade. It is not designed for the highest silicon input, but for production that needs a balanced silicon source at a more cost-effective level. When your process needs regular alloy addition without using higher silicon grades such as FeSi70, FeSi72 or FeSi75, Ferro Silicon 65 lumps can be a practical option.
