Calcined Petroleum Coke Description
Calcined petroleum coke is also called carbon additive, calcined coke or petroleum coke. Our company sells a calcined petroleum coke carbon additive made from green coke, which is heated to 1250°C. This removes harmful substances, reduces the volatile matter and ash content, and then undergoes processes such as crushing, sieving, and packaging. It is grey-black and granular. It can be made into different sizes, such as 1-5mm, 0.2-1mm, 0-1mm, etc. Calcined petroleum coke is made from raw coke. It looks round or polyhedral and is high in carbon, low in sulphur and low in ash. Our company's calcined petroleum coke is high in carbon and low in sulphur. It is used as a prebaked anode and anode paste for electrolytic aluminium, a carburising agent in the carbon industry, in the production of graphite electrodes, in the smelting of industrial silicon and as fuel.
