In the process of smelting ferrosilicon 65 in the electric furnace, the amount of flue gas, flue gas composition and flue gas temperature are constantly changing. General smelting of ferrosilicon before the amount of flue gas is low, the middle flue gas is larger, the flue gas concentration is higher in the early and middle period, because of the need to add material in the early period, and in the middle period, it is necessary to mash the furnace to add material. Smelting ferrosilicon later flue gas production is lower, and the flue gas temperature rises with the melting pool temperature.
In ferrosilicon 65 smelting process, the exhaust gas produced by the electric furnace is mainly due to the carbon dioxide produced by the ferroalloy reaction between the reducing agent carbon and oxygen in the electric furnace molten pool under high temperature electric heat. The alkaline metal charge in the molten pool is gasified at high temperature, and the molten metal is oxidised or directly evaporated into the exhaust gas, and then cooled into solid particles, and the incompletely burnt coke powder etc. is gasified and evaporated by the gasification of the metal or the hot air flow will take the molten pool out of the exhaust gas.
Ferrosilicon smelting electric furnace pollution of the environment is very serious, the main harmful substances are fine dust, of which about 65% -85% is silica identified content, about 40% -69% is less than 1um dust, the amount of dust discharged from the chimney is as high as 98g/Nm, far more than the permissible emission standards, the hot air flow entrained with a large amount of dust escaping to the workshop, so that the air inside the car asked to be turbid, the concentration of dust in the air up to the Expansion of standards, directly endangering the health of workers.
