Storage: Make sure you keep it away from moisture. Store it somewhere dry and well ventilated. Also, don't mix it with acids or oxidising agents.
Leak Repair: Cover with dry sand, do not rinse with water (to avoid acetylene explosion).
Precautions: Wear gloves and chemical protection goggles when you are using it, and make sure you have equipment that will stop an explosion (acetylene can catch fire and explode).
Transport marking: UN 1402, Class 4.3, dangerous goods in a wet state, must be labelled "emits flammable gas in contact with water".
