Nickel has high chemical stability and good corrosion resistance in many media. Its standard electrode position is -0.25V, which is more positive than iron and more negative than copper. Nickel has dilute non-oxidizing properties (such as HCu, H2SO4), and has good corrosion resistance in the absence of dissolved oxygen, especially in neutral and alkaline solutions.

Main application areas:
Nickel rods and nickel alloys are commonly used in chemical industry, generators with moisture-resistant corrosion components (inlet water heaters and steam pipes), pollution control equipment (exhaust gas desulfurization equipment), etc.
