 Ferrosilicon 65 means Si ≥65% C ≤0.2% S ≤0.05% P ≤0.02% Al ≤2%. Ferrosilicon 65 is used as an inoculant in steelmaking to promote graphitization, improve the morphology and distribution of graphite, and increase the number of eutectic clusters, and produces good results within a short period after inoculation treatment (approx. 5-8 minutes).
